Tallest person

A tale of Israel and Jordon. Michael Jordon

Michael Jordon: Much in common with the most-famous tall person in history.

A publication with the unwieldy title Popular Science News and Boston Journal of Chemistry (August 1890) documented bones found near Montpelier, France that correspond to an unnamed man who stood between 10 and 11 feet in height.
The same issue of this publication editorialized in favor of patent medicines, including a potential “corpse reviver.” This suggests Popular Science News and Boston Journal of Chemistry may not be a reliable source.

The height of the Philistine “giant” Goliath is listed in the biblical record as 4 cubits and a span, which works out to 6 feet 6 inches. Curiously, the height of NBA superstar Michael Jordon is also 4 cubits and a span, although Chicago Bulls press materials typically translate his height into feet and inches.

Mr. Jordan had 6 wins and 0 losses in world championship series. Mr. Goliath had 0 wins and 1 loss in his key matchups.
